Ballinskellig Castle and Beach Commission

I had the great honor of being commissioned by Michael Fetherston to paint 20 original oil palette knife paintings inspired by features of the grounds and the Barton family's history. The paintings are in the New Barton Grill Restaurant in the K Club. Thank you to Michael and all the team at the K Club. I am celebrating 30 years painting this year and feel very proud to have my largest collection of paintings in the K Club.

This is my largest commissions todate. They are all canvas size 1.5mt x 1mt. They are amazing on the walls of your fabulous home. I hope they bring you joy every day. It was an absolute pleasure to work with the client. I visited the locations myself in Cork Dec 2018 The 4 paintings were painted in the period January to March 2019. It was a wonderful experience and a learning curve having 4 large wet oil paintings in my studio proved challenging but exciting wonderful and rewarding. It was an absolute pleasure to paint this painting for the client remembering her strolls with her beloved dog on  the beach Sandymount.  I am not a portrait artist but my work is about an impression and atmosphere.
