GRAFTON STREET – THE EXCITEMENT

This original oil palette knife painting is inspired by the beautiful Chimney stacks of the Power Station. You either love them or hate them. I love them. I feel you know where you are they are a landmark. I have a facination with them and you will notice I paint them quite a lot. I love driving to the Red Stables along the Sea Front to St Annes Park. I cannot wait to see the skyline the sky the colours. Its always different no matter how many times your take that drive. I love that. This particular palette of colour I call my Lovers Sea palette. It is very romantic with the mauve and teal accents. The beautiful yellow ochres lend itself to a very rich and dreamy painting.  Its size is impressive XXL FRAMED SIZE 70CM X 140 CM                     (28 INCH X 55 INCH)

Its a must see and at a very good price to make way for my new collection This original oil palette knife painting is inspired by the memory of the fields of red tulips that grew beside me when I moved to my first house . The local family grew flowers it was their family business.  I didn't even paint then its over 30 years ago. The fields are now filled with houses but I will always remember the fields of beautiful Red flowers. I used artistic licence and painted poppies.
