Love of the Sea Poolbeg
This original oil palette knife painting is inspired by the beautiful Chimney stacks of the Power Station. You either love them or hate them. I love them. I feel you know where you are they are a landmark. I have a facination with them and you will notice I paint them quite a lot. I love driving to the Red Stables along the Sea Front to St Annes Park. I cannot wait to see the skyline the sky the colours. Its always different no matter how many times your take that drive. I love that. This particular palette of colour I call my Lovers Sea palette. It is very romantic with the mauve and teal accents. The beautiful yellow ochres lend itself to a very rich and dreamy painting. Its size is impressive XXL
