This original oil palette knife painting is inspired by time spent in Howth either painting plein air or over buying fresh fish from the many fabulous vendors there. Such a fabulous place to visit. I love the energy of the place. The wind on my face. The many boats. The lighthouse. I love it all.
For the viewer I hope I captured the essence which is Howth Harbour and that you are transported there.

Schools out for Summer
This original palette knife painting is inspired by memories of my own childhood. Summers on Portmarnock and Donabate beach. Glorious Summers where we didn't even have to wear a cardigan. At least that's what I remember and Summers with my own children at the beach. I call the series " making memories" as time spent with loved ones is just that. Times you will look back on. Especially when the children are grown or when you your self the Adult.
Hope the painting brings back such memories for the viewer.
